Excellent post! I've seen a lot of these articles, but there are a few on your list that are "new" to me. Thanks!

A while back, nutmeg and zelig were in DC protesting with the DC Chapter bunch. If you can join us during our Friday evening protests against the Code Pinkies, please do. We get together every Friday at the corner of Georgia Avenue and Elder Street in NW DC. As long as the Pinkies keep coming, we will be there. (I won't be there on July 8th. I will be at the Sean Hannity concert at Six Flags supporting those left behind.)

Take care.

As Rush Limbaugh stated "When most liberals count to 12 they miss 9 and 11."

Opposing Bush policy not the same as opposing our troops

In the mailbag August 20, 2005, LuRae Milazzo falsely promotes the debunked link between 9/11 and the Iraq War. When will people stop doing this? Osama/9-11 does not equal Saddam/Iraq!

It’s true, as Milazzo states, that the safety of American shores was challenged on 9/11. But it was challenged by Osama Bin Laden and al-Qaida, not Saddam Hussein and Iraq.

Why are we in Iraq? The Bush administration has admitted there were no weapons of mass destruction, and no ties between Saddam and al-Qaida. It’s now clear how this administration morphed Osama/9-11 into Saddam/Iraq to enact their agenda of reshaping the Middle East.

The third reason, in the ever-changing reasons for this war, “bringing them democracy,” is also debunked by an article recently in the Times Leader, stating that Iraq will base their constitution on the Koran. Sounds like an Islamic theocracy to me, not a democracy. What happened to the Bush administration saying that this war would be paid for by Iraqi oil revenues? We have spent 300 billion dollars of taxpayer money on this war (so far, and counting). The cost in lives so far is almost 2,000 American troop lives, tens of thousands of American troop casualties, tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi casualties (not the insurgents casualties, and some estimates are six figures), and a crisis-level drop in recruitment, with not enough National Guard and reserves to secure our porous borders.

And the conservative smear attack on the mother of a fallen American soldier, Cindy Sheehan, is downright disgusting. Cindy Sheehan is simply putting a face to go along with the picture of growing American disapproval for this war based on lies. She wants to ask Bush, what is this noble cause my son died for?

I’m supporting Cindy Sheehan and the troops, not Bush and the troops.

It’s an insult to our troops to suggest that they are not intelligent enough to distinguish between a protest against Bush and a protest against them, and it’s insulting that people are automatically linking a protest against Bush to protesting the troops.

Cindy Sheehan also supports code pink, Michael Moore and Moveon.org so where now does this place the writer of this letter?

Lets take a closer look at who she is hanging out with at Crawford Texas along with Michael Moore and Moveon.org crowd such as Code Pink.

I found this at

http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=18778

Code Pink – A far-Left group of faux housewives established by omnipresent pro-Castro activist Medea Benjamin, the founders met while agitating on behalf of Nicaragua’s communist Sandanista government. Benjamin, with Communist Party USA member Leslie Cagan, founded the International Occupation Watch in Baghdad, an organization dedicated to getting U.S. GIs to declare themselves conscientious objectors and get themselves sent home. Code Pink spokesperson “Sand” Brim flew a surgeon into El Salvador to operate on Marxist guerrilla leader Nidia Diaz’s hand shortly after guerrillas under her command murdered American troops. Co-founder Jodie Evans is a Democratic Party fundraiser with ties to eco-terrorists. Late last year, the group traveled to Iraq to donate $600,000 in cash and supplies to the terrorist stronghold of Fallujah. They made headlines this year by bursting into John Bolton’s confirmation hearings. Furthering the Left’s incestuous relationship, Medea Benjamin’s Code Pink is also a member of Leslie Cagan’s United for Peace and Justice, which became the “mainstream” voice of the anti-American Left opposed to the War on Terror.

Plus Micheal Moore is calling the insurgents in Iraq freedom fighters. Is Cindy Sheehan down with that?

Looks like Cindy Sheehan has called the insurgents freedom fighters herself.
