"I think it's the only Bush district in Texas that still has a Dem Rep."



It's the only *overwhelmingly* Bush district to still have a RAT for a Representative (Bush got 69% in the CD in 2004). But Bush also carried the 15th CD held by Ruben Hinojosa and the 27th CD held by Salomon Ortiz with 55% each in 2004, and the 28th CD held by Henry Cuellar with 52% in 2004.

If George P. is living in the Dallas area, he really can't run in any of those districts (he'd be seen as a carpetbagger), but if he moves a bit south he could beat Edwards and perhaps Hinojosa or Ortiz.

Damn. We need to get some lower-level Bush people to return to Texas and run for these seats. I'm betting we have some aids that can win these seats if they tie themselves to Bush enough.
