They say whatever they think will work

By far, my favorite example is "sexual harrassment". They beat that drum for 7 years, delighted each time an "ordinary citizen" was hauled into court for workplace indiscretions. And then, magically, the minute Lewinsky became a nationally known name, they dropped "sexual harrassment" as a talking point.

Think about it. When was the last time you heard that term in a political discussion?

"O'Connor did not have a judicial philosophy, she had a social philosophy". Pure gold from Charles Krauthammer.

What surprised me sometimes is that no mater how we loathe and despise the MSM, and these shows, for their mendacity, I think that 50% or more of their audience must be conservatives and Freepers...I think we all have a large masochistic gene..Look, fer instance, most here really can't stand Chris Matthews...let Hardball generates some of the longest threads here...onlu logical conclusion is that 85% of his audience are Freepers...we should all stop watching ..totally..his ratings would plummet..

Orin said yesterday that the toon had come to him, and he had agreed on two - ginsburg and breyer - but said no to the third.

This idiot woman on FNS just claimed that Bush won reelection with the smallest majority of any incumbent. Did this fool miss the election results from 1996?????

In 2004 Bush had 50.73% of the popular vote (Kerry had 48.27%) and 53.16% of the electoral vote. In 1996 Clinton had 49.23% of the popular vote (Dole had 40.72%) and 70.45% of the electoral vote.

There is going to have to be a 12 step program. Actually, I mostly watch to see what the enemy is up to.

Clinton won both terms with a plurality...he NEVER received a majority.

Just once I'd like to hear the MSM set this record straight.

But, I'm not going to hold my breath.

Juan isn't even making sense.

On one hand he says justices shouldn't have an "idealogical" approach. On the other hand, he thinks it's a good idea to have more politicians appointed to the courts.

(I agree with the last point: Mitch McConnell for SCOTUS!)

Mara just admitted that Bush has never "flinched from a big fight".

Finally....she gets something right.

Pardon me I thought a judge was meant to make judicial rulings not social ones LOL

< Stephanoupoulous.. >

...speaking of George...did anyone catch the video (from Letterman, I think) of Rummy interviewing himsef while George sat across from him? I don't watch Letterman, but Brit ended SR with it one day this week. Hilarious.
