Mara and Juan both think Gonzales would be hunky dory. If he were still on my list, I'd strike him now.

Hold off on that strike. I think they're working the lib version of the rope-a-dope.

And Biden isn't ruling out a filibuster for the USSC

Biden's running for President.

I volunteer to be his plagiarizer in chief.

Take him; Delaware doesn't need him.

I found Feinstein's comment about O'Connor agreeing to stay until a candidate is confirmed a hint that they might be planning on Boltonizing the nomination...

BTW, Biden really stepped in it on Face the Nation---

He was asked if he could vote for Janice Rogers Brown, and he pretty much said NO---and when asked why not, since she was just confirmed to the DC Court...he said that the DC Court is a lot different than the SCOTUS, because "THE SUPREME COURT MAKES LAW"---the other courts don't"!!!

So, Biden admitted that they want the SCOTUS to be the court that MAKES LAW!!!

I listen to Tony on-line. I used to get Liddy, but now it is a choice between Dr. Laura and Moon Griffon. I can only get Moon's station in the car, so, at home, it is Tony - on-line.

Re Bennett: He and his team are a bit slower than Laura Ingraham, Rush or Hugh Hewitt to zone in on really important developments. Tomorrow he might just do a patriotic focused show.

If the Supreme is lacking a member can the remaining members still rule on cases? Anyone?

Yes, they can. In cases of ties, the lower court ruling would stand.
