Janice Rogers Brown was the ONLY nominee mentioned that he said he wouldn't let get through....so I say, lets e-mail the White House and say we want JRB.

Try to watch the replay of Fox Sunday morning...I am thinking that it may have been that show that also gave me a "new" talking point that the dems have come up with..

Patrick Leahy was saying that some nominees are just too CONSERVATIVE, and then later in his conversation, he would use the word "conservative" with a perjorative inflection in his voice, so I got the feeling that the dems are going to try to make Republicans as self-conscious about being labelled "conservavative" as the dems are about being labelled "liberal"...

I mean in the last 4-5 years, all you have to do is call a democrat "liberal" and they start denying it all over the place...look at their reaction to Rove's speech a few weeks ago...he said "liberal" not democrat and even the brilliant Hillary jumped at that "gotcha"!!!

So, I guess they are trying to turn the tables so the next time Howard Dean stands up and wants to insult a Republican or a Bush nominee, he will sneer the word "CONSERVATIVE"...
and that will make the Republican jump up and deny it!!!

Don't know if that is true, but it was just a thought I got today...

I have noticed that as well, great observation.

The problem is the public knows that conservatives care about what is best for the country and libs don' t. That point alone makes all the difference in the world. You can't fool the public.
