Iraqi forces have captured an aide for al-Qaida leader in Iraq Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in a village in northern Iraq, police said on Sunday.
Abdul Hamid Mustafa al-Douri, a top aide for al-Zarqawi and head of al-Qaida branch in Salahudin province, was captured on Saturday by a joint force of Iraqi police and army in a village in northern Tikrit, a police officer from the provincial police, told Xinhua on condition of anonymity. Douri, a relative to Saddam Hussein's top aide Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri and a former engineer in Tikrit municipality, is suspected of being behind several car bombings on Iraqi police and army forces, the officer said.
Bad news for the Democrats.
Alright, we got the #3 guy!
Problem is the bastard has more aides than Carter has liver pills.
Another "Top Lieutenant"!
Time to hunt the Generals.
"Please, please, in the name of Allah the merciful...I beg you. Turn me over to the Americans and let them take me to Gitmo."
Instead of "I'm going to Disneyland!", the favorite celebratory phrase of Zarqawi aides is "I'm going to GITMO".
I too thought we caught #3 a couple of weeks ago.
Ha ha! Exactly!
"Please Allah, let them take me to Abu Graib and let them put panties on my head! And I could do with some salmon croquettes! Oh, and don't forget the naked female sergeant..."
This guys got more aides than Ted Kennedy has chins.
This guy has more Aides than San Francisco :)
ZARQAWI HAS AIDS!!!
;)
Why does the media call any member of al-Qaeda in Iraq a Zarqawi aid?
I have no comment on this latest capture of another top aide.
As far as the numbers go, I see that they cannot count beyond two : "one"... "two"... and then "many". Probably the chief guy or his sidekick has only two fingers, or maybe it is based on the Prophet's customs and habits ("sunna"). Hence the proliferation of multiple number three's (actually it would be "number many", or "number last", but it always gets lost in translation). If memory serves, there has already been one al-Doury captured, forgot his number - probably three.
