Uh, liberals cheered Stalin, Mao, and even Pol Pot. Go back and read what they were saying at the time before their revisionism. Yes, liberals have done some good things with human rights, child labor, car safety, and such but their problem is that they don't know when to stop. They've overshot the mainstream and the mainstream is pushing back. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing. It also doesn't help that somewhere along the way, they became haters of everything that Western civilization has to offer, not realizing that Western civilization is the source of most of the values they supposedly hold dear.
