John Conyers: Karl Rove Should Resign
Leading White House critic Rep. John Conyers is reportedly calling on President Bush to force his top political advisor Karl Rove to publicly explain his role in the Valerie Plame affair or resign his office.

Story Continues Below
"Notwithstanding whether Mr. Rove intentionally violated the law in leaking information concerning former CIA operative Valerie Plame," Conyers tells Bush, "we believe it is not tenable to maintain Mr. Rove as one of your most important advisors unless he is willing to explain his central role in using the power and authority of your Administration to disseminate information regarding Ms. Plame and to undermine her husband, Ambassador Joseph Wilson." The Conyers letter urges Bush to "require" Rove "to either come forward immediately to explain his role in the Valerie Plame matter or to resign from your Administration."
Three weeks ago Conyers staged a mock impeachment hearing based on the so-called Downing Street Memo, which purports to show that Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

John Conyers, Extreme Left Wing idiot and traitor should throw himself off of a tall building into a bed of spikes. After he's resigned from Congress.
Ohio, DMS, now this. Is he hoping 3rd time is a charm? Shouldn't he maybe think about trying to do something for the people of Michigan for a change?
The left luvs him, moderate dems tolerate him and everybody else thinks he's a joke.
Well Rove is conservative, so like Delay, that makes him guilt</sarcasm>
More goofy fun from Yawn Yawnyers.
100% crap. first, he starts off by saying rove should resign regardless of whether he did anything or not, but then proceeds to find him guilty of a "central role" in the whole strange affair, and further declare him guilty of abuse of his "authority" as a member of the administration, even though he was a member of the Bush/Cheney campaign when this all happened. conyers needs a nap.
mcenedo: Hillary Clinton Should Resign
Now if I could only come up with something nearly as far fetched as Conyer's delusions.
Maybe I'll do a search on "Hillary, Scandals" and see if anything pops up.
They are attempting the same on Tom DeLay but it looks like it might backfire on them. Lots of Dems scurrying for cover.
John Conyers should resign for being an idiot stupid enough to listen to left wing pundits and believing them simply because they say to. Conyers probably believed Dan Rather, too!
Once the court finds the leaker, Conyers should definitely step down.
I saw a reporter talking about Plames upcoming book, and she mentioned the credit Plame was giving to his wife "a CIA agent". The reporter got a sneak peek at the book. It wasn't the reporter that spilled the beans. It was Plame himself! He allowed the press to read the first draft before it was released.
She was either on FOX or MSNBC, because I don't usually check in on any other news stations. She was standing in front of the capital building when she gave her opinion of the book.
Plame is a she.
Jihad Johnny seems to be running low on straws.
He was presiding at cabinet meetings in the President's absence when he didn't even have a job description.
If he resigns his present position (whatever that is) does he also have to resign his position as the President's "turd blossom", or "architect of the Republican tsunami" or the American Prime Minister, or A$$h0le in Chief?
They can take away his reserved parking place but they can't keep him from parking wherever he wants.
A self-fulfilling degenerate. A political cancerous prophecy. This commie is a torch for the reason Detroit barely reaches a standard not enjoyed by many third countries these days. And to think of the horsepower in this once great city that produced the most heavy weapons in the least amount of time to help win WWII.
All gone now thanks to the 'Great Society,' liberalism, democrats, unions, and of course taxes.
Lots of taxes, with no return on investment.
Mark
I've always wondered where people like Conyers were at during the corrupt Clinton years.
