Congratulations, along with sympathy for the disruption and tax burden which all the preparations will cause. Nonetheless, I'm personally pleased that my favorite city to visit in the world was chosen. Oh, and it is delicious to think about how this hard slap to the face must feel to Jacques. According to Sky News, Chirac's popularity had sunk to around 30% among his own people. I suspect now that he will be blamed for this fiasco and his popularity will sink further.
