Is this sooner than expected results of "the Schiavo effect"? The day that Terri died, many people stated to the media and to each other that Florida would be punished. Maybe the monetary penalty hit sooner than anyone expected.

Florida's leaders worship money. Maybe they should stop covering things up here, think about what they've done and change course. As long as Florida is tagged "The Starvation State", it's not a good business climate.

The subtle boycott of Florida which was not even organized per seems to be working.

Probably just a twitch in the market. But long term, watch for the "Jim King effect": nobody in his right mind will retire to Florida when he learns that lawyers and politicians are empowered to put you to death and raid your bank accounts.

I guess our senior citizens are not as stupid as the death lobby thought. Our seniors have realized that the death for profit mill started full tilt in Florida at the moment of Terri's death.

All retirees who avoid Florida are getting the bonus plan. They don't have to worry about hurricanes or getting turned into soilent green.
