maybe ODonnell was the one who just called Cooper - it was a noisy cell phone connection, and ODonnell was disguising his voice as Rove and told him "tell them it was me, Karl Rove".

I agree he probably gave her name as the person who referred Wilson to the post but I doubt he knew or disclosed she was a CIA Op because not being in a need to know position he would have had to been illegally told.

And that subpena was broad about his info on Plame, Wilson, and WMDs.

And Miller's subpoena was for information she got from a "specified government official" about Plame, Wilson or "concerning Iraqi efforts to gain uranium".

Well yes, but I eliminated Rove long ago...

Understood. I just want to know when to start getting ready to watch good old Larry's final breakdown. I think it's getting very close.

well, if Rove was indeed talking to Mandy Grunwald's husband, even if it was innocent, and he doesn't understand how this can be spun and twisted by the media into tagging him as "the source" - the guy is supposed to be a political genius, he can't figure out what this would lead to?

I knew that before I'd ever heard of Joe Wilson. I'd say I'm very well versed on all the players and the details of the story.

Right ... she'll do the time, take her notes everyday, and then the book and movie deal .. all to most likely protect her source, Sore Throat, and the cabal. And, I would not be surprised if it IS Wilson. But were that to be exposed .. all the debate about the cabal between the libs and the media would be found to be true, and she WILL NOT let that happen. So, she'll look like Joan of Arc, but is really protecting the cabal... who will greatly reward her. She'll probably be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

OK, I'll play...how would Rove have any idea why Joseph C. Wilson, IV was sent on that trip to Niger?

He simply wouldn't.

what?

I would expect Rove to point out to reporters the implications of the revelation that Wilson's wife recommended him.

Goodness, by your standards the administration would never be able to say anything for fear of the spin.

BTW, the spin wasn't contrived by the Wilson faction for a few weeks.

Question: if Cooper's source released him, then that would mean there's more than one?

CNN reporting that Cooper got the call 'as he left home.'

The MSM labeling Rove as "the source" is only going to backfire on them because as he released the Media from the confidentiality agreement he too can discuss the matter and link the media to this leak themselves. It was already common knowledge before Novak, Miller or Cooper went with the story.

Hi, cyn. We'll hear who that source is one day and I just hope it's a dedicated leftist vs. some career bureaucrat who is unknown.

The game is getting better every day!

technically, the detainment could be indefinite - so long as the grand jury is empaneled, or even if this one is disbanded and another is convened to take up further investigations. I heard a report this morning (Ron Kuby) that some woman was held in jail in DC for 6 years for failing to disclose the location of her children in a custody case.
