ALL of Europe was on a state of alert after the fatal blasts in London today, Italy's Interior Minister Giuseppe Pisanu said.
When asked if there was a state of alert in Italy following the blasts, which Prime Minister Tony Blair has said looked like terrorist attacks, he replied: "There is in the whole of Europe."
You could probably extend that to the US as well. Im flying to Frankfurt from Atlanta today. I expect airport security to be tight on both ends.
Al Qaeda lacks the resources and manpower to carry out more than one such attack a year. Putting Europe on high alert is closing the barn door after the horses are gone.
Reportedly one of the blasts was caused by a suicide bomber. There seem to be many volunteers for martyrdom in Islam so I wouldn't be too sure there aren't others waiting to make their move. In fact, if other cells are planning attacks I would expect them to occur quickly before the authorities can get a handle on this.

That would seem reasonable except they are Arabs and Arabs don't have the capacity for such actions.

All Europe? Even Spain? Even France? Even Sweden? Even Germany? Even the Netherlands? Even Belgium???
If they're on alert now, think what they'll be on in a few decades!!!
