Okay, here is my guess on this whole thing.

The leaker is Miller herself, while investigating the whole Yellow Cake thing and how Plame's husband got the assignment to investigate. Who did she leak to? Novak. Novak mentioned the Miller investigation to Rove. The only thing that Rove mentioned to Cooper, is probably that Miller leaked the information to Novak. So, Miller CANT testify against herself, Cooper wont rat out a colleague, and Novak wont tell all until after Cooper and Miller testify, so that they have no chance to lie their way out of it.

That is my theory.

My theory is that the original leaker is Joe Wilson himself - not to reporters, but to friends in DC, and it eventually got in the gossip pipeline and became widely known, to the point where people conveying the information would have no particular reason to think it was classified.
