Muslims warned to stay indoors

British Muslims were issued with a stark warning to stay indoors today, amid fears of reprisals following the London bombings.

Massoud Shadjareh, chairman of the Islamic Human Rights Commission, appealed for calm and condemned the bombings.

He said: “The Islamic Human Rights Commission utterly condemns this attack, but now we appeal that there should be no further victims as a result of reprisals.”

There was no immediate confirmation of who was responsible for the attacks, but a claim was made on the Al-Qal’ah – Fortress – internet site, by a group calling themselves the Secret Organisation Group of Al-Qa’ida of Jihad Organisation in Europe.

Mr Shadjareh said some members of the Muslim community suffered a backlash following the September 11 2001 terror attacks in the United States, and the Madrid train bombing in March 2004.

He said he was “very concerned about a backlash” and called on British Muslims to “remain vigilant and calm and stay indoors”.

He said: “IHRC is advising Muslims not to travel or go out unless necessary, and is particularly concerned that women should not go out alone in this climate.

“In the event of being attacked, IHRC urges victims not to retaliate and to report the matter to the police and appropriate authorities.”

More horse-pucky from the Islamic Human Rights Commission. There was no backlash after 9/11. Their womenfolk have nothing to fear from the Brits.

A rash and violent response from the Brittish citizens is probably the best thing that could happen for the Brits. Unfortunately, they're largely unarmed.

Yes, all UK Moslems should remain indoors until ordered otherwise ~ they must stay there until this is all sorted out.

It would be easy for them to counter this reaction. All they need to do is volunteer for the armed forces and speak out consistantly against terrorism and organize fundraising to assist those injured.

In other words, act like Christians.

Attempt to become the victim not, correctly, the perpetrator.

This warning was probably issued so the "infidel" wouldn't see them dancing and cheering in the streets as they did after 9/11.

God these people are just breaking my heart.

They want to be world citizens and murder bombers at the same time.

As someone stated on another thread, their womenfolk have more to fear from their menfolk then the British citizens. I won't shed one d@mn tear if anything happens to their so-called men. (Sorry, that's not very Christian, but that's how I'm feeling this morning.)

Instead of screaming their heads off about the terror bombings that knew no race, creed or ethnic origin, these bearded munchers want to continue the act with the fear of mean old whitey!

There is a utter sickness in that community that is very obvious.

I believe they should all lock themselves inside their refrigerators and deep freezes for further protection.

What a huge steaming fecal LOAD! Of course, coming up with this is so so much more important than expressing sympathy for the dead and wounded. And they wonder why they and their "religion of peace" are not respected. I am sure his token condemnation of the bombers was done quickly and as afterthought with little sincerity at all.

You want a backlash? Now this is a backlash...

Saudi Arabia - Conversion by a Muslim to another religion is punishable by death. Bibles are illegal. Churches are illegal.

Yemen - Bans proselytizing by non-Muslims and forbids conversions. The Government does not allow the building of new non-Muslim places of worship.

Kuwait - Registration and licensing of religious groups. Members of religions not sanctioned in the Koran may not build places of worship. Prohibits organized religious education for religions other than Islam.

Egypt - Islam is the official state religion and primary source of legislation. Accordingly, religious practices that conflict with Islamic law are prohibited. Muslims may face legal problems if they convert to another faith. Requires non-Muslims to obtain what is now a presidential decree to build a place of worship.

Algeria - The law prohibits public assembly for purposes of practicing a faith other than Islam. Non-Islamic proselytizing is illegal, and the Government restricts the importation of non-Islamic literature for distribution.

Jordan - Has the death penalty for any Muslim selling land to a Jew.

Sudan - Conversion by a Muslim to another religion is punishable by death.

Pakistan - Conversion by a Muslim to another religion is punishable by death. Bans proselytizing by non-Muslims. Christians regularly put in prison for charges of blasphemy.

If they were really smart, they would beat a couple of their own guys up, real nice and bloody like, and parade them before the cameras just before the nightly news goes on.

Aw, Hell. Why am I giving them ideas...?
