London Mayor Defended 'Theologian of Terror'

(CNSNews.com) - London Mayor Ken Livingstone's previous support of a Muslim cleric who advocates suicide bombings may cause him some embarrasment as he now must speak for the city in the wake of Thursday's terrorist bombings.

Livingstone condemned the Thursday attacks as "mass murder," and added that "this was not a terrorist attack against the mighty or the powerful, it is not aimed at presidents or prime ministers, it was aimed at ordinary working-class Londoners."

Yet Livingstone has in the past labeled Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi a "man of peace" and a "moderate" despite the fact that Al-Qaradawi has supported suicide bombings and the targeting of American allies.

And an appropriate follow-up is to shoot the bastards.

Bump - Any normal thinking individual can CLEARLY SEE that it is insane for these cowards to be ALLOWED to preach death.

That London mayor is one of the numerous low life scum who stand in the way of victory over terrorism. As long as our society allows him to do so, he will. Think on it.

But who knows sometimes a severe shock can have a very beneficial effect.

He should do the right thing and commit Seppuku. I'm sure he has a great many friends who would have experience enough to perform the final act.

"Thank you all be strong good America persons."

Many in this land as yours, know full well that freedom does not come without a price. All Americans that have a little idea as to how serious the war on terror is, thank your government, people, and your military for serving with honor in Iraq side by side with the other coalition forces to make a difference. Many Americans that do not have their heads up their asses, shall remember Poland sided with the right side, and did the right thing. Thank you.

It is quite that simple.

So, terrorist attacks on presidents, prime ministers, and other people of might and power are justified?

What about mayors of major cities? Is he on the guy's Christmas card list?

'"Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi a "man of peace" and a "moderate"'

It is so transparent. Problem is they continue to see the western world (stupid in their eyes), buy the horse crap, pile, dung cart, and smell, and just nod their heads, ok.

Talking about nuking a few dozen countries under Muslim control is at best absurd, have brained. But surely the western nations and any mid-east country that wants to put a stop to this crap must really start getting brutal with these pockets of scum. You round them up, regardless of any sustainable charge against them, and retain them in well guarded prisons for a very very long time. If twenty or thirty thousand scum bags where put away in this manner and all the governments told the world L/MSM to go fly a kite, things would change in a few years.

Also in November 2003, Livingstone was named 'Politician of the Year' by the Political Studies Association, which cited his implementation of the 'bold and imaginative' congestion charge scheme. The honour came a week after Livingstone made the headlines for referring to George W. Bush as 'the greatest threat to life on this planet,' just ahead of the President's official visit to the UK. Livingstone also organised an alternative 'Peace Reception' at City Hall 'for everybody who is not George Bush,' with anti-war Vietnam veteran Ron Kovic as the guest of honour.

I wouldn't shed too many tears if the terrorists had targeted the mighty and powerful Major of London...

Reading a blog of a reporter that was just sent to me via freepmail, and most of the people interviewed think that the Brits deserved what they got. I fear for the world some days. So many people have lost their moral compass, or, as you said, are self absorbed.

"So many people have lost their moral compass, or, as you said, are self absorbed."translation polish-english

"They are so far off. How sad is human who denies a true and proclaim to stand by it. Such a ingratitude; so much pain and self hate. Through their own selfishness do they accumulate points in hell? Self absorbing; selfish in own thinking of holding world in their own hands they are fast on self-destruction; like all demonic entity they want all to go with them into abyss. By God you shall be safe and you should know wisdom of goodness and perversion. These people will meet their master; how many would have to parish before people realize how to kill monster of deceit?"

thank you"Peach"

Being a former liberal myself, I think I understand Livingstone. And through the eyes of liberals, he's in trouble with them too.

He's not saying that attacking a Prime Minister is OK. What he's saying is that attacking Joe Shmoe on the street is particularly sick. The Prime Minister deploys troops, making him essentially a military target, at least in liberal-think.

Certain wealthy businessmen who support the Prime Minister are also the equivilent of volunteer soldiers.
Those targets would be slightly 'less dishonorable', while you can bet that Livingstone would condemn attacks on them as well. That's liberal-think.

But even a liberal would feel sick knowing that Livingstone was an apologist for anyone who called for this kind of attack:

"Yet Livingstone has in the past labeled Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi a "man of peace" and a "moderate" despite the fact that Al-Qaradawi has supported suicide bombings and the targeting of American allies."

Livingstone must announce that he's seen the light now. On the other hand, if London is as stupid as most NY voters, then it won't matter much.

most of the people interviewed think that the Brits deserved what they got.

These people are morally equivalent to the terrorists. Yet another example that leftist thinking is a disease.
