They haven't been targeted until recently. Individual gangs are not that difficult to break up, the problem is that new ones pop up like mushrooms.

The biggest obstacle to crushing the MS-13 is the Buchanan/Tancredo crowd type thinking that demands that anyone who cooperates, assists, or provides information to the FBI or LEOs be jailed and deported if they don't have the proper papers.

But then the Antis aren't concerned with gang crime any more than they are with terrorists are they? It's just another excuse to attack President Bush for not sealing the border to migrant laborers.

Yep, good call - no one cares about terrorists or gangs, just a bunch of people washing dishes in a restaurant.
