July 9, 2005 -- A globetrotting Bronx man is still missing in the London terror attacks and feared dead by friends and family who waited in vain yesterday for word of his fate.

Michael Matsushita, pictured here in the loving arms of his British girlfriend, Rosie Cowen, has not been seen since she said goodbye to him at their London apartment Thursday morning - as he set off for the doomed Piccadilly subway line that exploded near King's Cross station and killed at least 21 passengers

I was listening to Fox this AM and they broadcast the press conference with the police chiefs from London.

Evidently the body recovery in the subway is going to take some time.

One reporter mentioned a thousand relatives looking for their loved ones, but that seemed so high to me. I don't know if they meant 1000 people missing, or 1000 being the number of combined relatives that are searching for loved ones.

LONDON (AP) -- Three bombs containing sophisticated explosives hit the London Underground within less than a minute of each other, police said Saturday as a clearer picture emerged of the coordinated attacks last week that killed at least 49 people.

More than 700 people from several countries, including the United States, were wounded.
