Alberta joined by BC would be a very attractive, strong State on the world stage. Plus I would live there and enjoy the benefits and pride BC is just as loony left as ottawa is.

BC is just as loony left as ottawa is. Hardly, BC just reelected the conservatives and is growing like crazy in spite of Ottawa.

Only on the coast. The BC Interior, northern BC and the Fraser Valley are staunchly conservative...
It's sort of like Ontario, where the liberal Toronto area more than counters the rest of the province...
