You would be taxed to even remotely back that claim with facts, buddy.

Here's a hint : look up what the late President Reagan said about Mitterrand, look up the story of "Farewell", a French mole in the USSR that the CIA was given access to, look up the tactics Mitterrand used against the French Communist Party throughout the 1980s, bringing it from 15% to less than 8% (and less than 3.5% today).

Mitterand, besides being a French Quisling as to American concerns, was a Socialist. Being a Socialist is akin to being a Communist, but with bourgeois tendencies.
