Until I found FreeRepublic, I subsribed to Time, Newsweek, US News and World Report, and many other weekly and monthly publications. My only subscriptions now are to the Wall Street Journal and our local newspaper. FreeRepublic has more news, faster news, unfiltered news, and better news.
At the time of my "enlightening", I cancelled all those others and became a very proud member of the "dollar a day" club.
More bang for my buck.
