In a couple of weeks our Sunday School class will have some kind of Islamic cleric as a guest

Run from that church as fast as possible....there are no questions that you need to ask!!!

some in the class are liberal

If they don't kick you out the door after you ask your questions, you should start looking for a Christ-centered church anyway.
