Editor, the Tribune:
From a few reports, I have heard Karl Rove is the one who is mentioned in the Time magazine reporters notes. If he is the one who retaliated against the CIA agent by leaking her name to the press, he should be immediately fired, arrested and prosecuted.
Where is the outraged press? The press and the Republican Party repeatedly attacked and prosecuted former President Bill Clinton for lying about a consensual sex act that had no direct effect on any American, and yet the Bush administration lied to all of Americans about the reason for the Iraq war. This lie has cost Americans more than $150 billion of our tax dollars and over 1,500 American lives and counting.
We know Rove has been in charge of the dirty politics and smear campaigns against Bushs opponents for many years, dating back to the Texas election in which he smeared Anne Richards. He smeared Sen. John McCain and his family in the South Carolina primary. He was in charge when his party attacked John Kerry, who is an American war hero! Where is the outrage?
Now we hear he has illegally leaked information to Robert Novak, a reporter for the right-wing agenda, about the wife of a former U.S. ambassador, Joseph Wilson. Wilson questioned the Bush case for the war against Iraq, and Rove retaliated by telling the press that Wilsons wife was an undercover CIA agent, therefore jeopardizing her safety and future career. Where is the outraged press?

Not all that uncommon on a university campus these days.
Of course Lurch outs a CIA agent during the Bolton circus and no one has spoken!
Wow ~ what kind of hallucinogenic is this wacko on and the MSM wants to us to taken seriously... *sigh*
Ted Rall is now calling for the death penalty against Karl Rove.
What would he say about Sydney Berger destroying national security notes?
Its only a movie, its only a movie, its only a movie.....
Loard this man a loon..
A REALLY BAD movie.
Really? I keep seeing folks make this claim, but I haven't yet [I've asked many times] seen the 'lie' quoted. Can you tell me what Wilson said when he 'lied' - because I keep seeing quotes where he said he was sent by agency officials. Which is what the Senate Intel Committee said.
My thoughts exactly. I'd hate to wake up that mad day after day!
Of course, the Democrats' strategy is to discredit Bush by bringing up one idiotic scandal after another. The stupid liberals in the news media, of course, play right along. They seem not to notice or care that they're discrediting themselves in the process.
He wrote an autobiographical comic book about how he got beat up regularly in school. Somehow I get the idea that those beatings may have been provoked.
Oops ~ sorry for the typo.
Should have been: "take them" :)
Note to self: Let this be a lesson to you. If we are ever lose again...have enough self-discipline to quit whining and work smarter. If you don't, you look like an idiot.
He said he was sent by the Vice President. He wasn't. He was sent at the behest of his wife, and it doesn't seem to matter one whit that these liberal morons used the CIA for political purposes.
More likely they launch their letters directly from the Democrat talking points.
You know, Kerry dodged the draft but got caught anyhow and was dragged off to Viet Nam where he bailed out on his crew as quickly as he could. Remember that brilliant military record now?
Ralls cheese has slid off his cracker. He wants to speculate about the whole deal, then convict and execute Rove based on what he admits is pure speculation.
With the comments he is making I don;t dought he did get beat up alot. the guy is nothing but pond scum
That's the assertion I keep seeing, but every quote I see says he was sent by the Agency.
You got a quote where he says what you say he says? Mehlman didn't even have one.
