Washington D.C. (AHN) - Washington D.C. (AHN) - Time magazine reporter Matthew reveals top White House advisor Karl Rove is one of the sources of a CIA leak. The admission comes during a grand jury hearing on Wednesday.

The special prosecutor involved in the leak of a covert CIA Agent, has told the lawyer of Karl Rove, in an interview with the National Review, that the White House Advisor is "not the target of the investigation."

"'Target' is something we all understand, a very alarming term," Rove attorney, Robert Luskin, said.

Luskin said in the interview that Rove has been asked by prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald specifically, "not to speak publically about the on-going investigation."

The NYT likes to claim they have "sources" in their news stories. Newsweek will go under because of this because they will no longer be able to claim they have sources or those sources will be known not to be anyone who would fear being exposed. Therefore, any claimed source will be assumed to be partisan liberal. Miller is protecting the continued existence of the NYT, being able to persuade the public that their source is trustworthy and doesn't have an agenda is everything.

To put it more bluntly, the next time the Times wants to claim they have a source in a Republican administration saying this or that...everyone would laugh at the notion.

If Rove did leak...the source was ratted out to Plame's husband immediately ("Rove...frog marched"...how would he know that it was Rove?)

Actually Cooper is the one who outed Plame. It must be nice to bear zero responsibility because your a "reporter".

Lets break this down. Rove tells Cooper off the record to be careful with the Wilson story because its BS. He says Wilson wasn't sent by Cheney or any admin official but "his wife who apparently works for the CIA" got him the job.

Cooper decides that the story isn't "Wilsons yellow cake claims may be false" but " Administration slashes and burns Wilson, says CIA wife got him the job."

Rove told one reporter confidentially that a partisan liar Wilson was never sent by the admin but his CIA wife got him the gig. Cooper outs the wife by blaring it in Time and of course the distraught couple then pose for the cameras of Vanity Fair, fearful of course, that Valarie might be noticed.

As a side note, CNN ran a story about this yesterday and showed the picture of Wilson and Plame in the car but blurred out Plames face. Unfreakinbelievable.

That freakin Shorr is about the most pompous sumbitch I've heard, and that is saying something because he sure has a lot of competition.

Let's place bets on who the "target" is! Fifty bucks says it's Wilson himself! But then it could be Chris Lehane..or even - Hillary!?

This is going to be fun when all is said and done - fun and very satisfying to see it all explode back in their faces! The MSM have been making such asses of themselves...and they don't even have the story right is why it's so funny.

This is the most ridiculous "scandal" I've ever seen. The media is covering this like 9.11. If they gave illegal immigation 1% of the coverage they're giving this, maybe something would change. Sometimes, I wonder how long this country will survive.

Thank you for a good laugh!! As I said in my earlier post - the MSM are making utter fools of themselves with this!

I read an greatly larger version of this a couple of days ago. Verbatim. In fact, the only words added are, "The admission comes during a grand jury hearing on Wednesday." (Notice the weasely way that sentence is phrased?)

I suspect that this pathetic entry is the result of somebody trying to start a "blog". Forget about it.

Have you ever noticed that Daniel Shorr sounds almost exactly like Barney Frank? Have you ever seen a picture of both of them together? Could they be the same person?

I did not see it myself, but my brother told me three days ago while we were discussing how crazy the press is going over this. My response and yours was almost identical.
