Is there really any doubt about his survival? Is there any conservative candidate running for office who wouldn't want Karl Rove on his side?
I don't even see him resigning - there is simply nothing that has been made public that would suggest a need for that but even if that were to happen, Rove has been highly successful as a private citizen.

Bill Clinton didn't resign during Monicagate. He pointed his finger at Americans and lied. He made the Senate, the House, and the country waste a lot of time on a philandering perjurer. Why should Rove resign?
The biggest problem our President has had in this term is getting information out to the public. Scott McC is not an effective spokesperson.
