Burglars bring utility vans to housebreakings, not brand-new BMW's. If he can go out and steal BMW's, what's he doing robbing houses?
I think the whole thing is fishy. I don't think he was a common burglar.
Thanks for the ping.
"Wonder how old the daughter was. Late night rendevous gone bad. Or good for that matter"
If it was a rendevous gone bad all I can do is quote Mr. Rythm from the movie DC Cab..."Don't let your dick rule your life" wise words, there are always consequences
Ah-hah, ex?-boyfriend.

I wanna know more! Wacking an intruder, burgler, or protecting yourself is one thing, but it sounds like there's more.
If he broke in the house, the fact that he was an EX boyfriend makes me all the more comfortable that he got what he had coming.
It sounds like this may be murder. The guy was an ex- or maybe current boyfriend of the daughter, and the neighbors report that his car had been at the house all day. He had a key to the house. He was shot twice at short range in the face. The father is known to have disliked him. To me it looks like maybe he and the daughter got back together and the father got home and found him there and wasn't too pleased about it, or perhaps the father was there at the same time and they had an argument.

Maybe, but if he broke in, the father walks.
DC Cab? Theres a blast from the past...LOL. Theres another good quote from that movie I can't mention 8>)
One less reprobate. Next?
Ding Ding Ding!!! I bet we have a winner here!!
Who's got a picture of Marty McFly going home to the wrong house?
Yeah, I suspected something like that. But he had a key!
Geez, if you are prepared to shoot unidentified intruders you got to have control over who has keys to the place! I know I will get flack for this, but someone should be charged with something on this one.
Agreed. But I bet the girl doesn't get many dates after this.
"The victim was identified as 18-year-old Richard Rojas..."
"Ro-jas" is "No-loss"...I love happy endings...
