Movies don't just offer us an escape, but reflect our realities and familiar experiences. Thursday's brutal attacks on London reminded us of a reality we've been living with for years now--Islamic terrorism. But don't hold your breath to see it portrayed as such onscreen anytime soon.

It's bascally an extension of Ann Coulter's observation that 99.99% of known terrorists for the past 40 years have been young Arab males -- but for airports to profile yound Arab males would be unthinkable. Well, I guess for Hollywood to portray a terrorist as a young Arab male is also unthinkable.
