I'm back. I checked the California Corporations Database since his outdated link refered to a home page in California. Nothing there.

I can usually find something like this easy. If he has incorporated, there must be some records somewhere? Am I wrong? Especially if he does business overseas.

If he has not incorporated and in fact gave a bogus company name with his contributions, is that a crime?

I don't know the answers. I am just curious why this company cannot be traced anywhere. After all one article gave some names we are familar with as being associated with JC WILSON.

I'm pretty sure it's generally true that to do business in a state, a corporation has to register in that state (no matter where it's incorporated) and name a local agent, though. Don't know about unincorporated entities.

Perhaps it's an offshore corp? Or a phony front company?
