It was said of liberal legend Senator Hubert Humphrey that he had more solutions than there were problems. But today's liberals seem to have no solutions to anything, just carping, spin, and character-assassination

Actually, most of what this man said should be highlighted, this one hit home with me. I have vague memories of HHH, and he would turn over in his grave at the members of his party these days.

It was that thought that I was going to copy, italicize, and comment on, but you beat me to it. I have some very good memories of the Happy Warrior, and I agree that he would not be pleased with today's liberals.

Except for LBJ, the Democrats of those days were honorable people, Senator Zell Miller being one of the last of this dying breed.
