I don't think that Wilson has been called at all. Fitzgerald, the prosecutor, told all the witnesses that they were potential targets and that they couldn't talk about the proceedings. My guess is that it is his wife who has been called.

That disappoints me tremendously. I don't understand why Joe Wilson wouldn't be called before the Grand Jury since he's constantly going on television making false allegations about Rove, Cheney, etc.

What do you know about Fitzgerald? Is he a red meat prosecutor without any political axes to grind? These types of investigations can take many turns and with the information you've provided, it sounds like there is a treasure trove of corruption to uncover.

Do you remember what Sidney Blumenthal did during the Clinton impeachment? He went on tv and lied about his testimony. At least this time Wilson can't say anything about what is going on inside the investigation, because he either doesn't know, or can't say. Anyway, Wilson doesn't work for the CIA, so he can't really leak security secrets, but his wife can.

I don't know anything about Fitzgerald, except that Ashcroft picked him.
