Tiger Woods dropped a shot in the first 3 holes, and Retief Goosen is charging hard, only 1 shot off the lead.
Tiger looks like he could very well be caught today.
Retief with a bogey......back to 8 under.
I think the wind is going to be a major factor today. It's been pretty benign the first 2 rounds but it's steady at 16 MPH, gusting to 25....
I'd love to see Tiger, Daly, and Monte in the last group at St. Andrews tomorrow.
....and Goosen plays particularly well in windy conditions.
Monte is playing inspired golf...
AND he's dropped a considerable amount of weight as well. I think Tirico said he looked like a "linebacker" now...He looks svelter, but he's no Lawrence Taylor...IMHO.

Tiger birdies 5, now two shots clear of Goosen and a possiblity of making a run at his own scoring record if the weather holds.

Daly is at -7, playing 13, Woods taking a drop, not sure if there's a penalty, but he needs to get this one close...
