Shouldn't Bush just start serving a prison term? Why bother to wait for a determination as to whether laws were broken?

Yes, of course Bush should just resign. In Bawney Fwanks eyes, Bush is the worst criminal of all, he is a Republican who dared to win an election by being voted into office by the, gulp, voters. How dare Bush actually have campaigned and taken his case to the voters. CRIME!!!! CRIME!!!! Anything that gets in the way of Bawney Fwank's socialist agenda is a CRIME!!!

The dems say that they are modelling their current tactics on the Republicans in 1994. I think it is more like 1998 (I think) when Newt and the boys figured that Lewinskygate and impeachment would be enough, in and of itself, to increase the majority in the House and Senate. We all know what happened there. If anything, the result of that election told Newt and the boys that the faults of your opponent alone were not enough. You had to offer some reason to the voters to vote FOR you.

Here, the dems have an even bigger problem. Bush has done nothing wrong. There is simply nothing to these charges and most people outside the Beltway could give a crapola about, or even know, Carl Rove.

The democrat campaign button for next year: "Vote Democrat, Vote Impeachment (because you stupid voters made a mistake in 2004)"

Thanks for the laugh. Don't they wish? They're too stupid to come up with a blue dress, and GWB is too smart to give them one.
