You must see something in Frist that he's failed to display to date. Every time he's pressed, he folds up like a clothes hamper.

IMHO this is not a surprise, this is not breaking news, and no Frist will not "pull the trigger" As my old man would say........Frist is not only not in the game, he doesn't even know the ball is pumped up!!

If Frist "pulls the trigger" then maybe I will resume contributing to the Republican Party.

Beg to differ with you. IMHO, Frist doesn't have the guts to pull out the nuclear option plus it's the gang of 14 that run the Senate, not Frist.

LOL.. Frist will indeed pull the trigger -- the republican surrender [suicide?] trigger, not the "constitutional" trigger.

I think Frist and the Republicans are intensely studying the companion book to the Sun Tzu's "Art of War" -- "Art of Surrender"

If Frist's pulls the nuclear trigger it will be: Game. Set. Match. Championship! It will be over for DemoRats from that day onward. Precedent will be established that the Senate needs only 51 votes to confirm a Supreme Court Judge. The Filibuster will be considered a brief historical anomaly in the confirmation process of Judges. Go for it DemoRats. Filibuster away. Do it.
