It doesn't matter. DemonRats are the masters of spin. They believe that opinions are facts and true facts are worthless since they are difficult to twist into their lies.
What this Rev. should do is send out a mass mailing with all this information to all the major cities in the country.

Unfortunately, he was Lincoln's VP and was elected as a Republican. His stance on post war treatment of the ex-Confederacy led to his impeachment and near (missed by one vote) conviction by his fellow Republicans. I expect democrats to make glaring errors like this when recounting history.
However, for the most part this list of de jure and de facto injuries inflicted on black Americans as part of a roughly 200 year long conspiracy coordinated and led by what is now known as the Democratic Party is entirely accurate. Unknown or forgotten by most Americans, but accurate.

As much as I would love to see the Democrats get soaked, I would hate even more if this set a precedent for African Americans going after greater amounts from the US Government. This idea of reparations for wrongs committed on one's ancestors (parents or grandparents or further back) is just part of a greedy personal-enrichment scheme on the part of people who don't want to work. Why should I have to pay, today, through the nose for my great great grandfather having owned 3 slaves in antebellum TN? Nuts. The "Great Society" has already effected BILLIONS of dollars in transfer payments from me and my family to them and theirs ... enough is ENOUGH.

I agree with you about why reparations are a bad idea. But the article does make a great point about the Democratic Party.
Are you sure about this Katana? There was a time when the President and Vice President were elected separately. So you could have a President from one party and a vice president from another party. I had always thought Andrew Johnson was a democrat elected under that old system.
I don't remember precisely what year the change in elections came, so you could be correct. However many younger people assume that our current system has always existed. It is easy to make a mistake and think the president and vice president were always had to be from the same party.
Under the old system that was not the case.
Just shut up and pay up my friend you don't have any rights to any of your personal property, money land ect. Have you not been paying attention to the supream cort. You will pay and you will smile while counting the money. You will pay, your grandchildren and great grandchildren will pay. They want and you pay wake up friend it's just how it is, and if you don't like it pay some more and when your money is gone you will give up your land, and when that's gone you will give your blood, and when that's gone you will hand over your country. YOU WILL PAY!
