What kinda horses do they ride? Appaloosa or Shetland? Just curious. ;^)

The horses they ride now are named Abrams, Bradley, Apache, and Black Hawk. And they do breathe fire on the enemy!

Actually, the last time I was around the 1st Cav they had a ceremonial platoon of guys dressed in 1880's uniforms and mounted on horses.
