Crusade?
I wonder how long it'll be before someone... us, the UK or maybe Australia publicly asserts that they now regard Islam as a political faction instead of a religion?
This craziness has to stop, but what price will we pay? What might the long-term effect be on our own freedom of religion? Do we dare eradicate Islam from our soil? Do we dare NOT do so?
Just a thought.

Define it as heresy, as Hilaire Belloc did.

No.
We do not dare not.
Everything is at stake.

I won't pretend to pass judgement on whether a Crusade should happen or not. A true crusade would leave the world in shambles, and disrupt many societies, some irreparably. However, by the time the question is asked in earnest, the West may be beyond caring about the price, believing the alternative to be even worse. I can't even say that I won't be among those who think it isn't to great a price to pay.
