As a member of the Democrat controlled 93rd Congress in 1975, Dingell betrayed and abandoned a valiant ally by refusing to come to South Vietnam's aid when they were attacked by the communists.

One of my last remaining goals in life is to live long enough to piss on Dingell's grave.
