Just do like they do in Indy, A Dem judge tells them to let them out, so they can commit more crimes before even being tried for the first.
Works wonderfully.

I agree. Simple concrete cells and steel bars are far more cost effective then rehabilitation centers.
Take away their citizenship and ID. Send them to Mexico in exchange for the 1/3 of all violent offenders Mexico has sent us that we have in jail.
Prisons and Jails are established for: (1)to keep these animals out of our society and (2) for punishment. Nothing else.
The rehabilitation part comes when the criminal realizes that crime results in a bad experience while abiding the law results in avoiding a bad experience. It worked with Pavlov, why shouldn't it work with criminals?
Now, as to your assesment of the situation...please provide us with the stats on how many "rehabilitated" criminals "see the light" and go out into society to become pillars of their community VS those who simply continue to live a life of crime.
Maybe us here on FR can actually view this outstanding report and change our minds.
Clearly the solution is to release all the child molestors so we can make sure those evil pot smokers stay off the streets.
It is becoming obvious that the criminal justice 'syatem' is broken. A revision is necessary. More attention should be paid to first offenders. Public humiliation such as the pillory, stocks and whipping. Branding of, say, child molestors; i.e. a great big CM on the forehead would serve as a warning to potential victims. The possibilities are endless. All it requires is a little strength; the ability to allow these miserable little pieces of fate to suffer, all without becoming hysterical.

Remembering a song by Kenny Price: "If you try to push your Caddy, from Nashville to Cincinnati, you're gonna have to cross the Boone County line...you might outrun my Chevrolet, but you won't outrun my two-way..now I'm the Sheriff of Boone County, and by the way, yore in a heap of trouble..."
