One neighbor says he didn't think the vandals were making a political statement but were possibly drunk.
Police say whoever set the fire will face arson charges.
"It's beyond the pale. It is beyond the pale," said Bob Kramer.
"I don't think it's a political statement," said Kramer. "I don't think it's random. I think it's some really stupid kids, maybe drunk I don't know, but it's despicable and I hope they are caught."
I think Mr Bob Kramer has just outed himself as one of the perps.
I can't imagine that people who respect the flag would pile them up and burn them, even if they were drunk out of their minds.
Alcohol brings out people's true nature, it doesn't usually make them do something they wouldn't otherwise be prone to do, but for inhibition.
Well then, let's ask when was the last time anyone was drunk and decided to burn a flag? Where would that thought be implanted deep into their skulls to come out at that moment?
We must stop liberal media.
May God Bless and Keep that family.
Oh, okay then, I guess that makes it all right......silly me!
I don't care if they were drunk, stoned and high.
They still should face the maximum penalty possible and in addition they should have replace out of their funds the flags and be forced to do cemetary groundskeeping for every weekend out of this school year.
If they miss activities or are athletes, tough toenails.
