Well, I know the area. It's not super-wealthy, but it's wealthy enough that it is highly likely that at least one of the perps' parents could call someone on City Council to get the chief to be quiet. Same thing in the prosecutor's office.
There just isn't a core group of liberals within 15 miles of the place. The nearest Dem voting area is the City of Hamilton, and I don't think they'd tolerate vandalism to a soldier's family very well there.
I suppose it's possible that some Moveon types got together and hunted down the address, but it's simply not the way to bet.

I am sure it is some lefty kids or even college students. I don't care how republican an are is, there are still libs and leftists around. As we have also found, libs comprise a very large portion of the wealthy and middle class. Either way, these pukes should be beaten.
Hard to follow your reasoning. Just because an area is heavily GOP doesn't mean that there are no Dems/liberals. This was a political statement,i.e., whoever did it does not support the war and/or Bush. To label the perpetrators as RINOs is unwarranted and pure supposition.
