I recently discovered that if I run my Dustbuster within
about 5-feet of the driver's seat of my car, the car
alarm is set off, even when the alarm isn't set! True story!

People having a scan that involves radioisotopes should be warned that they could set off security radiation alarms in airports for up to 30 days after the procedure, state the authors of a case report in this week's issue of THE LANCET. How is this news? I was advised of this when I underwent octreotide injections last year. Now I get to drink radioactive stuff that's supposed to be "berry flavored." Gack. That stuff still can gag a maggot.
