Agreed. I have a heart for the Jewish people and Israel. It ticks me off when the US sticks its nose into Israel's business.
I believe that prayer will eventually break the back of Islam and it will only be eliminated when these people see the one true God (and it's not ALLAH!).
Bless you.
Good article. Absolutely right.
And watch out for the EMERGENT CHURCH trying to backpedal for Christianity and capitulate to those labeling Christianity 'intolerant.'
It's hard to say. It is certainly a wake-up call, at least, IMO. But it's the very ones who want to capitulate to the terrorists and shed innocent blood themselves (a la Roe V Wade, terry Schiavo, etc.) that are bringing any real judgement down upon America.
That being said, there is more hope for America than for these monsters that are driven to harm us.
I've always admired the Jews and Israel and how they fought so hard to get their country and now they're being made to give some of it up. Grrrr. I pray America will always be a friend to her but I also wish Bush and this adminstration would keep out of her business. God is Israel's truest friend and He will defend her against all these infidels who want to push her into the sea.
I don't understand these churches either. Don't they read the Bible? Don't they know how much God loves Israel and doesn't WANT her divided?
Agreed.
Ping!
But we know who our friends are, as we have precious few in the world. Most conservative Christians are true allies and the good Lord will bless them for their loyalty, I believe. It is hard these days, because many Americans believe that if we abandon Israel, the islamists will stop terrorizing us. But they would not, they would only see us as weak and would further work to destroy us from within, for they do not love the Christian or the Christian Redeemer.
Thank you for your loyalty; and bless you and your family every day!
I speak from belief and knowledge. Why do you seperate them. We are dealing with the real God who manifests Himself and indwells His children, and has given His Word, the Bible, of which that same Holy Spirit is the Author. Belief and knowledge for the child of God are not separate.
And God did finally, later, utterly destroy Nineveh. AND FOR THE VERY SAME SINS THAT JONAH PREACHED AGAINST. That's what the O.T. book of Nahum is about.
Ro 13:12. "The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light."
Eph 5:11. "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."
Friend, you must know that God, in His Holiness, does more than weep when we do evil. Sins against God's laws have consequences. Sin has wages. Pay day shows up.
Did someone say that America needs to repent for what happened ON 9/11?
So Question:
If the Koran instructs Muslims to kill unbelievers then why do the Iraqi police and army (who are majority muslim) not want to kill coalition troops (who are unbelievers)?
I think you are trying too hard to form the mind of God in your own image. God is incapable of evil and 9/11 was evil.
No, I don't think so. We just need to repent period for the sins of this nation against God. I fear the worst will happen if we don't. Prayer is so important here. I want to make clear that God didn't CAUSE 911, He just allowed it for whatever reason.
Thanks, Ariamne. Do you know of the organization Fellowship of Christians and Jews? I support them financially sometimes for boxes for Russian Jews who have to make a decision to eat or heat on a daily basis. It's so sad. It's an honor to be able to do that.
Well, the whole tale of Mohammed could be a fable, so I would hesitate to describe the tale of his consummation with a 9-year-old as "historical fact". It's in the Koran, but it might not be any more true than the rest of the book.
