PENTICTON, B.C.—Hours before a 22-year-old personal banker won a free set of breast implants, elderly churchgoers did their bit to change the minds of 36 contestants ....[Skipping the whole beginning, which was kinda irrelevant]
"[I]t's my body and I'm going to do whatever I want," said Tiffany Friesen between celebratory screams and gulps of champagne inside the club.
Names of all the contestants, most of whom were 19 or in their early 20s, were taped to a prize wheel for a chance at the $3,000 prize.
One by one they filed up on stage in mini skirts and tight dresses to spin the wheel, eliminating the girl whose name it landed on.
Friesen shrieked in disbelief when she was the last woman standing.
Other contestants... sulked, soothing their disappointment at the bar. They lost a chance at gaining self-confidence, many of them said.
Men at the club were astounded at the competition.
"They're all so beautiful. Every single one of the contestants is really good-looking. I don't get it," said Steve Jones, 32, who was visiting from Calgary.
"Natural is so much better. I want to tell all these girls, `don't do it!'"
Friesen, a slim, tanned woman from Fort St. John, said her good looks aren't enough for her.
"I was born really unlucky with this one part of my body. I've been wanting implants for five years ... It's going to be great," said Friesen.
Women's groups are worried that contestants in the Sextreme Makeover competition aren't thinking about the possible health risks associated with breast implants.
Breast implant surgery carries the same operative risks associated with many surgical interventions to implant a medical device. Health Canada says they can cause infection, hematoma, delayed wound healing and changes in sensation...

Will they also disconnect and disable their ovaries, fallopian tubes and wombs?
Will they also reject pregnancy as a disease and a baby as a waste product?
Would they dream of allowing their own sweet baby to have the warmth and bliss of drinking mama-milk from those cosmetically-perfect investments they carry on their chests?
Will they be mystified and miserable when they're in their thirties and they see in the mirror the sagging, bulges, wrinkles, grey hairs, and all the inevitable signs of bodily maturity?
And how much does anyone respect their souls?
Does anyone say, "I love you," "I cherish you," "I praise God for what you are"?
Poor girls. Competing to be Barbie dolls when they were created to be "a little less than the angels."
It's a choice that is theirs to make, misguided though it may be.

That seems pretty judgmental.
And I'm the idiot who came to this thread hoping for pics .. sigh.
The rules state, um, you gotta post pictures, yes.
I have to admit, they "curved" her up a little (not much really). But shortly afterward, she started putting on weight, copped an attitude, and is now a slob who eats her lunch all by herself.
And ironically, with all the weight she's put on, the new and improved hooters aren't even noticeable.
Her problem obviously wasn't her breasts. It was something far deeper.
Their thirties?

That's hot.
So you think anyone considering any kind of cosmetic surgery is just a brainless twit who can only form an opinion based on what Hollywood says?
Perhaps some women do it because they want to, or because they think it looks better. Not everyone who gets a boob job has basketballs implanted.
I think to make generalizations is never a good idea.
And no, I've never had the surgery.
As stupid as I think having that done is, it's not anyone else's business if they choose to do so.
I wonder how many women a year get butt implants. I am not a boob man.
Oh please tell me that is photo shopped. Please.
