Let's get the ol' creative juices flowing and use NARAL's handy form to sound off on the Roberts nomination.
Apparently they didn't get the Feinstein memo...a lot of people here believe it.
Heres my letter. I tried to leave the NARAL letter intact with obvious changes to
1. get it past the Free Thinking Murderers at NARAL. Here goes:
If Roberts is confirmed to a lifetime appointment, there is little doubt that he will work to overturn Roe v. Wade, sending America into the streets to celebrate LIFE. As Deputy Solicitor General under the first President Bush, he argued to the Supreme Court that "Roe was wrongly decided and should be overruled...." (he was Correct!)
Appointment to the Supreme Court allows unparalleled power and opportunity to shape national law and policy for generations. An anti-choice judge, if elevated to the Supreme Court, will tip the balance in many cases dealing with unborn childrens rights and other personal freedoms, GAY weddings. Roberts, who has demonstrated hostility to the right to choose, will very likely be such a judge. The American public deserves a nominee that can be counted on to uphold constitutional rights, and he will by declaring Roe unconstitutional, as it has NO basis in the framers original intent.
Don't let radical groups who support murdering unborn human beings sway your opinion. In no other area of American Law is killing innocent human beings allowed. America is behind you. Give NARAL a swift kick in the seat of the pants and do the Right thing.
