"It used to be a journalistic standard that every story had to be vetted by two reliable sources before being printed. Nowadays, unfortunately, some news outlets consider that to be two sources too many."

Thanks for all of the hard work that you went to, sono, to post this exposé. I believe that "saber rattling" is just one of the techniques of these islamofascists, which is propaganda pure and simple.

I have read many knowledgeable comments on various threads here on FR, stating that nuclear materials & devices aren't simply carried around like articles in a picnic basket, to be casually detonated when "the order comes down" (presumably from a cold, dusty cave in Pakistan).

As I understand it, this stuff requires sophisticated maintenance and procedures.......which isn't to say that Al Qaeda doesn't have any such operators, but at least it tends to dispel the notion that people in "seven large American cities" are sitting around with their nuclear suitcase bombs stashed in a corner of their apartments, ready to walk out the door with them and down into a subway system, or into a mall.

I hope the experts are right about this. However, on the bad side, Bill Gertz, John Loftus and Steve Emerson are quite negative about the situation; i.e. they believe that it's not "if," but "when."

Thanks again for your efforts to clarify the facts surrounding this issue, sono.

Char (:

Let's hope it's not from some neo-con cave where the whole event can be 'staged', and the likelyhood of pulling it off (technologically) is much better.

Before we embark on a new crusade, we'd better damn well know where the attack(s) came from. Then we flatten whoever's ass it might be (warning to all).
