Arianna is unbound by the senate, free from having to appease centrists, the old boys, or even party traditions. She's a loose cannon, the voice of the far left, who Hillary doesn't want to offend. Hillary has to fear her, and loathe her too, because Arianna is the pretty one.
It makes me wonder if Arianna's alleged "conservatism" during the Clinton years was simply a resentment of Hillary.
