Drinking and driving then wrecking and killing someone is no accident. It's murder! My aunt was murdered by a drunk driver leaving behind 6 kids and a husband.

So how many DUIs do you have? My guess would be several. Have you forgotten that Kennedy left Mary Jo in the car for several hours before he went for help. IIRC the autopsy showed that she suffocated in an air pocket, not drowned. If the spoiled little rich boy had tried to rescue her or even gone for help quickly she would not have died.
on drunk drivers: I was 13, my 19 year old cousin was killed by a drunken SOB who witnesses say was doing close to 60 MPH on a city street in Brooklyn. The judge let him go with probation in 1979. All drunken drivers and judges who let them go should FRY IN HELL and they should suffer the way my aunt and uncle suffered. It tore them apart. It ruined the family relationship. The guy that killed my cousin was a murderer. Ted Kennedy is a MURDERER.

What is key here is that Teddy made a choice to save his reputation (because he was drunk) or to get help and try to save Mary Jo. His decision was to think of himself. He decided that his reputation and what was said in the press was more important than the life of a young girl. THAT is what makes us all sick. And that is why we have not forgotten it.

Isn't the ethics committee back in session? Maybe at long last it's time for Teddy to be removed from the Senate. He's an embarrasment to Massachusettes and America as well.
