He should do it. If the stewardess asks him where his clothes are, he could say he stored it safely in the overhead compartment.
It would be a hoot if he could keep a straight face (oh, and not get arrested.)

If I tell him to try it - he would.
He's one of those borderline sociopaths that gets away with so much with a wink and a smile. He's darling, witty, smart, et al - but just a bubble or two away from plumb - if you know what I mean.
