I agree. Stockdale deserved better--but we can still keep the thread going. How did you come to know him?
I do not know him...I first heard of him when he ran with Perot. I actually read more about him on Free Republic over the last couple of years and came away with a much different view of him than was evidenced when he had the VP spot with Perot. I have started to blame Perot for placing Stockdale in that sort of position...
