I have been collecting all the free gun lock giveaways for years.... I have about 10,000 of the little false sense of security gun grabber locks in a couple 55 gallon drums in my garage. I go to every gun grabbers "giveaway" be it a city hall freebie box or some LEO loser handing em out..... I figure another 250,000 locks and I can secure the southern border for free......:o)

Or retire and sell "special" tricycle locks.....

Stay safe ....

Most American gun makers are including a trigger lock with every gun now, and have been for several years.

You can buy a trigger lock at Walmart for a couple of bucks, so I doubt that the manufacturers are paying even that much for the ones they throw in with every gun they ship. This amendment was just a sop thrown to the antis so they can go back home to their anti-gun blue states and crow about how they stood up to the despicable gun lobby.

The important thing is that this bill will save the American gunmaking industry from being driven into bankruptcy and out of the gunmaking business by lawsuits designed solely for that purpose. If it takes raising the price of a $500 gun by $5 or so it will be well worth it if that's what it takes to get it passed.

But having said that, that amendment is where Frist should draw the line and say that no more amendments will be considered.
