The Get over it was the finale of Syds Dads excellent reply to a whining gloomer and doomer.
The whining and fearfullness over CAFTA is gonna do just about as much good as that Pollock Military dude that whined yesterday that the Iraq war couldn't have been handled any worse.(snearing grin)
Ta-dah!!! Life rolls right along smartly!!! (even here in poorly governed CA)
You had best buy a lot of Alpo and a tent now that CAFTA has been passed.
GW had a great time signing the bill didn't he?
That smile on his face before, during and after the signing will drive the insane ones on the dark side into a deeper insanity.
That slovenly langwidge is purdy hard ta reed, ain't it???
How many nurses does it take to make a tank?
jpsb.. How does it feel to be on the side of Castro, Chavez, Kennedy, Kerry, Pelosi ??
What on earth does that feel like, I would never know.
Please tell us.
Registered nurses: How many nurses does it take to make a tank?
Postsecondary teachers: How many teachers does it take to make a machine gun?

Your question is rhetorical and stupid.
It's a typical response from somebody who doesn't know anything about economics.
You want to answer my question? How's it feel to be shoulder to shoulder with Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez?
Try living in Montana where most of our jobs have been replaced by the "service industry".
Loggers made good money here (those who are still in that business still do).
Everyone else works "service industry" at 6 to 8 dollars per hour.
WE are experiencing it and you have zero idea what you are talking about.
So what is it like to be shoulder to shoulder with Fidel and Hugo, with Kennnedy, Kerry, and Pelosi right behind you?
No sir, You have zero idea about what you are talking about. The standard of living today in America far surpasses America 1995, 1985, etc.. Until you get a clue how the world's gadgets and gizmos work, you'll always be the person who rolls out of bed all grumpy, complaining about everything wrong in the world.
I always try to remember to whom I am talking. I believe it was you that stated we will be a service economy, was it not? If so the question of just who it is that will build the stuff our military needs and just who it is that will fight our wars immediately springs to mind. Obviously you have no answer, just insults which is typical of those that share your opinion. Are you a Chicom?
Sigh..
You lead an idiot to knowledge, but you can force them to take it I guess.
I give on you no-nothings.
No I just give up talking to you. You're a hopeless cause. You're stuck in your own simple ways, and there's no budging it.
I'll try one more time.. How does it feel to stand shoulder to shoulder with Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, Teddy Kennedy, and Nancy Pelosi ??? How does it feel ??
Here I'll save you the time.. Don't response... "What are you a Chicom?!"
Sigh..
Winners - 217
Losers - 215
Thank god common sense and freedom prevailed.
Wake up pal, the standard of living in most places in American is Shrinking.
If you can't see that, then it's obvious that you have your head stuck in the sand like the rest of the Repub worshippers.
If not up your backside.
BTW, I'm a computer programmer so I have the ability to basically write my own check. But I SEE what's going on with everyone else around me.
Too bad your world view is confined to the tip of your nose.
Well if those folks advocate maintaining vital manurfacturing in the usa and not turning ourselves into a service economy like you do then I'd say they are correct. Feelings really to not enter into it, except if you are wishy washy do gooder liberal like most free traders. Conservatives, at least usa conservatives, want to keep the usa strong and do not spend alot of time thinking about "how does it feel".
"Wake up pal, the standard of living in most places in American is Shrinking. "
Tell that to my wife who is a child caseworker. She visits trailer parks dozens of times a week.
You know what is in these trailers when she goes into them? DirecTV, DVD Players, Stereo Systems, Big Screen TV's, TIVO, A/C, PlayStations, Computers/Internet Access, and oh and don't forget.. The empty beer cans on the floor and a 24-pack in the fridge!
Anybody who thinks the standard of living in America is shrinking has their heads pretty well entrenched up their behinds.
Did it ever occur to you, why Castro and Chavez oppose CAFTA and all other forms of Free Trade? Cmon, keep coming, you're getting closer.
No I couldn't care less what they think, but I know Karl Marx was a big supporter of free trade since it leads to socailism/marxish. Which we can see with our very own eyes if we brothered to open them.
Great post GD
